The End of Poverty?

I went to a Tearfund training day this morning entitled "Make Poverty History - what next?", basically it was about Making Trade Fair. I'm not sure that all the sessions were that great, but it has revived my passion for this. I already buy a few fairtrade goods but I'm thinking of trying to get the school I teach in to become a fairtrade school. I think all this entails is committing to serving only fairtrade coffee and tea at meetings etc... although I'm sure it must be more difficult than that.

I've also just purchased "The End of Poverty: how we can make it happen in our lifetime", it's supposed to be a good read although on first glance it looks remarkably like one of the texts from my economics degree. I'll let you know how I get on with it.
