Another one bites the dust

My mate Jonny has just gone and got himself engaged. This brings the tally to 2 in as many weeks of close friends who have decided to get hitched. More worrying is the increasingly extravagant nature to these engagements. You may have previously read my post on Chrissy's engagement which involved a soft-top mini. Jonny decided to do the business, as it were, on the steps of Sydney Opera House. Is the sentiment no longer enough? Do we have to validate our love by providing increasingly spectacular gifts or locations? And yes I am just worried about what will be expected when it comes my turn!
